  Barbarous Nights
This tale follows Bill Messer as he forsakes the rat race of New York City for a seemingly less demanding existence in America's South. Instead, Bill finds only misfortune. Betrayal, violence, bodybuilding, alcoholism, criminal misdeeds, and a fascination with the medieval mark his misadventures beneath the Mason-Dixon Line as he struggles to regain normalcy. These are true accounts of personal descent, when one is brought to edge of reason--to be tested by lonesome days filled with cruel and unusual people, and to brave the heartache of barbarous nights. 5.5" x 8.5". 24 pages.
